Katie’s bunny boarding provides spacious, safe and luxurious accommodation for both rabbits and guinea pigs. With over 25 years experience of looking after rabbits and guinea pigs, your loved pet will have an excellent holiday at our boarding facilities. We also take care of other small furries e.g. hamsters, gerbils, birds, rats, degus, chinchillas, tortoises, hedgehogs.
We are passionate about our furry friends and value how important it is that your pet has a comfortable holiday in a spacious hutch and daily exercise run. You can enjoy your holiday knowing that your rabbit/guinea pigs are well cared for while you are away.
All boarding rabbits must have been fully vaccinated against Myxomatosis, Vhd and RVHD2. Most vets now provide an 'all in one' vaccine called Myxo-RHD PLUS. Ideally you should allow a minimum of 8 days between the date of vaccination and the beginning of your rabbit's holiday to allow their immunity to build up and recovery from any side effects. Vaccination applies to rabbits only, guinea pigs do not need to be vaccinated.
Rabbits and guinea pigs quickly become an important part of your family and we offer a happy stay for your pet. We understand from personal experience how important it is for your peace of mind that your pet is in safe hands and well looked after while you are away.
Your rabbit or guinea pig will enjoy a 5* holiday and optimum care. All our guests are closely cared for to ensure they are happy and healthy. We are members of the RWAF and are closely linked to our local rabbit savvy vet and follow their advice on your rabbit/guinea pig's welfare. I will happily groom your pet and I offer nail clipping on request. In addition, I can try to bond your rabbits for you if you so need.
Our hutches are purpose built specifically for housing rabbits and guinea pigs, and they all have a cosy dark bedroom area. Following RWAF recommendations we have large 8ft x 2ft x 2ft hutches available.
The hutches are secure, clean, well ventilated, draft free and dry for your pets’ comfort. In the colder months we have a heater, and in the hotter months we provide a fan and air conditioning and have a securely netted top part to the stable door to provide air flow and make the temperature more comfortable for your pet.

Just picked up our treasure for the second time! Katie respected all our wishes on how we wanted Roger to be looked after and he looked very happy on both occasions we picked him up! I had absolutely no worries about leaving our rabbit with Katie - she obviously loves all the animals she looks after. Everything is very clean and tidy and well-organised, and it is easy to make arrangements for dropping off/collecting. Knowing how much work caring for just one rabbit can be, I think the service she offers is great value for money and I'm glad she is so local!
Such a wonderful place to leave my most precious bunny. Katie always makes us both so welcome and i feel confident that the best place for my adorable rabbit when not with me is with Katie. I would recommend her and her bunny boarding to anyone.
